Several weeks ago I’ve undergone yet another facial Cryotherapy procedure at Skin Touch Aesthetic Clinic in their new clinic at Centuria Medical Makati. Hoping to get rid of my flabby double chin, minimize pores and my really annoying dark under eye circles, gladly went so I could also do a review. I know that it will take a few more sessions to finally see my desired results but crossed my fingers coz if one treatment of this CryoContour can do wonders to my skin problems, it must be really an effective procedure!
Let me give you a bit of info about CryoTherapy:
Cryotherapy is the local or general use of low temperatures in medical therapy. Cryotherapy is used to treat a variety of benign and malignant tissue damage, medically called lesions. In this case, it was used as a facial rejuvenation treatment using this CryoCell machine.
CryoContour (Face) – using a cooling system, CryoContour rejuvenates your face and neck giving it a tighter appearance and a more define neck and jaw line. Guaranteed results on the first session.
Here’s the step by step procedure of my CryoContour (Face):
A photo of me before the CryoContour treatment. Honestly, I usually hesitate when someone’s touching my face more so do any sort of procedure. I’m quite scared though when vanity kicks in I often give in hahahaha. Notice the bulges around my jaw, chin and neck? Those were the targeted areas.
Next, my face was cleansed so as to remove makeup or dirt. It’s actually a usual step before any treatment I think, same goes when you’re doing your daily skincare regimen.
Here’s a really short video of the next step which was the application of the Vitamin C serum while the CryoCell did its wonders on my face and neck.
Loved the feeling of intense cold on my face but note that it’s not like you’re going to freeze or there’d be icicles on your face after a while lol.. Think about putting an ice cube directly on your face excluding the melting and dripping part. You’d definitely still feel the cold metal plate and no pain, tingling, numbing sensation whatsoever!
The Vitamin C serum is a bit sticky but once the metal plate comes in contact with it, it hastens the absorption process. By the way, in case you don’t know yet, Vitamin C is also a whitening agent.
Procedure was repeated on the other side of my face and neck and the whole shebang lasted for 15 minutes. I don’t want it to end, hahahaha!
Then, as a last step, my face was wiped off of the white residue from the serum and below are my glowing and V-Shaped facial rejuvenation results.
See the difference here and I can’t believe it too, just one treatment and I got this V-Shaped face! Woot! Woot! I’m definitely coming back for more! My eye bags and under eye circles a bit gone, so they need some more touch-up.
Some of you may have noticed those ugly syringoma bumps on the corner of my eyelids. I so want them removed coz well, it’s unsightly and I’m having a hard time hiding it using concealers and eye shadows. That’s my next target but it’s costly so I hope there’s a sponsor out there who’d want to remove them as well as throw in an eyelid reconstruction or something coz mine as you can see is almost non-existent, lol..
