I’m a bit picky when it comes to cleansing my body inside and out. Though it doesn’t stop me from trying out new massage and spa salons as well as products – new and old, branded or not.
A few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to be chosen to try a newly opened spa at The Block in Sm City North Edsa. It was a long long way from home and practically on the other side of the Metro, but since I’m an avid fan and user of the brand, I gave Asian Secrets Whitening Spa a piece of my time.
It was their soft opening day and a few fellow bloggers I know were in attendance. After a little chit chat and a few bites of what they had for cocktails, my friend and I headed to the counter to check out their packages.
In short, I had to try it! Check out their facilities and see how neat and relaxing the place is….
I tried the body scrub with 30 minutes massage and boy, I wanted some more! The scent of Asian Secrets Lulur Green Tea truly relaxed my senses and as I am in that stage where aging is a huge dilemma, I badly needed a skin detox.
It was an awesome feeling after the whole process and honestly, when I touched my skin, it was smooth and smelt like a baby *wink*
I have been using Asian Secrets products at home but learned a few tricks from the therapist. So, when it’s time to have my monthly skin detox, you bet I’m gonna scrub the proper way!

Our therapists have been professionally trained in the Lulur dry scrubbing method that effectively yet gently exfoliates the skin. Licorice has several skin care components that occurrs naturally in the plant. It has a component called Galbridin, which cause skin lightening and brightening. The Licorice with Mulberry Lulur Scrub has a double whitening effect to the skin. This scrub is also recommended to those who want to fight acne on their bodies as it is anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.
Seaweed has been used extensively in Asian countries for over 600 years due to its nourishing, moisturizing and detoxifying properties.
