Smoker? Need to commune with the environment or bask under the moonlight, be romantic, you know candle lights and all and star gaze with your loved one? No prob coz the Al Fresco dining area is set up to cater also for these purposes.
The 106-seater space is located along the stretch of Forbes Town Road in Manila’s trendy Burgos Circle neighborhood. Has 2 floor dining areas, not suffocating especially when crowded coz of the high ceiling, quite cozy from the outside, simple furniture but intricate lighting made the entire resto look so elegant especially at night.
This is one resto that will give you a great dining experience. Apart from having a relaxed aura, BONDI&BOURKE gives you a multi-awarded Australian chef and owner, Wade Watson, who curates straightforward, comfort food favorites and prepares them with the best ingredients. He has cooked around the world, with postings in Canada and Australia, and as Executive Chef to the famed Lan Kwai Fong group in Hong Kong. He was previously the Executive Chef of the Abaca Boutique Resort in Cebu.
“We are focused on good food. It’s basically dishes you want to come home to after a day’s work,” he says. “There is no magic to it, really. It’s just simple food in a relaxed atmosphere, and having a team of dedicated, hardworking staff.” – Chef Wade Watson
You can actually watch him prepare your food and drool while waiting plus it seemed so easy when he’s preparing it. No fuss, just a simple preparation for each and every dish but you’ll definitely crave and finally lose it once you take the first bite! hahaha happened to me especially when the steak arrived!
Let’s now move on to the awesome, sumptuous, jaw-dropping meals that we enjoyed during the launch. If these doesn’t make you rush out to Bondi&Bourke, well you’ll be missing a lot! They also have a branch in Makati, by the way.
